The Mighty Ganga
Not having experienced any adventure sports before, this was going to be his first. A quite shy guy he has been all his life. This time his friends managed to bring him to a place worldwide famous for Yoga and Meditation. And that's what all he thought during the journey. A peaceful and quiet place would it be with more people preaching the yogic activities, he thought while waiting for the destination. Finally, they reached at night. The city was quiet and the air was fresh. Not what it is today. It's rightly said, we are not more than a civilized animal. There was this golden age for the travelers when the himalayan foothills still used be a masses favourite but with more steps that settled in, it lost the charm it holded for ages. There's no denial that the beautiful places out there needs to be seen and explored but not at the expense of it's own destruction. The boys woke up to a windy morning & all ready to set foot on the banks of the mighty Ganga. Those of you who have been a part of this great whitewater river rafting activity at Rishikesh knows the thrill and excitement just before it actually begins. The guide was assigned and the boys were guided about all the know hows of rafting. All adventure sports across the world comes with some sort of risk and the amusing stories of the ones who risked. He was told that the river has a good depth and people have drowned over the years while they tried to raft. Though he shivered in the beginning but composed himself as they rafted their way through the river. As they moved, the fear of risk slowly faded away. The time has come, exclaimed the guide. As they were about to enter the Rapids & the turbulence of the river, few of them started reverberating Jai Gange Maiya! The sound had a divine connect & the power that moment gave it to him was enough to break all the walls. He was a changed man!

Nature gave us colors and that made us believe in beauty. While many are still busy destroying it in some way, let's try not be a part of it. Instead, preserve and help the nature flourish forever.
